Battalion Chief Curry is a twenty-five year veteran with the Long Beach Fire Department. He is currently assigned to the Regional Training Group under the Los Angeles Area Fire Chiefs Association. He is responsible for the coordination of training and mobilization exercises for the regions Urban Search and Rescue Teams. He also assist with the coordination of Hazardous Materials training and regional projects to include mass causality incidents, active shooter response, firefighter survival/mayday. He is also the project manager for the Fire Departments All Hazard Incident Management team and is certified as a Strike Team Leader, Task force leader, Plans Section Chief 3, and Division trainee.
